Fix it yourself
The document is written to be executed by anyone competent. Plenty of brands do exactly that.
FREE · THREE BUSINESS DAYS
A senior engineer walks your storefront, theme and checkout on real devices and sends back a prioritised list of fixes — what to change, why it matters and roughly what it costs. No pitch deck and no obligation.
IN SHORT
Most free ecommerce audits are an automated scan with a logo on it, followed by a meeting. The findings are generic because nobody actually looked at your store, and the document is useless the moment you decline the proposal.
Ours is written by a senior engineer who spent a few hours in your store and is deliberately portable: ranked, specific, and detailed enough that your in-house developer or another agency can execute it. If you take it and fix everything yourself, that is a good outcome. We would rather be the people whose audit was genuinely useful than the people who sent a PDF.
Five stages, three business days.
Your store URL and a sentence on what is bothering you. If you have a specific worry — checkout drop-off, mobile, a slow product page — say so and we will weight the pass towards it.
Not a script, not an automated scan. Someone who builds Shopify stores goes through your store on real devices the way a customer would, and writes down where it fights them.
Cart through to confirmation, including payment options, unexpected costs, form behaviour and what happens when something goes wrong — the part most audits skip because it needs a real order.
Core Web Vitals in field data, third-party script load, and accessibility basics — keyboard navigation, focus states, contrast, semantics.
Every finding gets expected impact, rough implementation cost and enough detail to act on. Ranked, so you know what to do first, within three business days.
A written document, ranked by expected impact against implementation cost. Each finding has enough specificity to act on — which page, what is happening, why it matters, and roughly what it takes to fix.
No score out of a hundred. No traffic-light dashboard. A list, in the order we would do them, written for whoever is going to do the work.
The document is written to be executed by anyone competent. Plenty of brands do exactly that.
It is portable on purpose. No proprietary framework, no findings that only make sense with us attached.
A scoped piece of work on the highest-impact findings, quoted before anything starts.
If the list is long, ongoing optimization or a retainer usually makes more sense than a one-off project.
Clients from the roster whose work this page describes. Each links to what we actually built.
A prioritised written list of issues across your storefront, theme performance and checkout, returned within three business days.
No. The audit is written so any competent Shopify developer can execute it.
Yes. It takes a senior engineer a few hours and it is how we start most conversations. If the findings are things your own team can fix, that is a perfectly good outcome for us — the audit is not a trojan horse for a proposal.
Three business days from the point we have your store URL.
We will still audit the store, and the migration questions become part of the conversation. See migration services for what moving looks like.
Research, hypothesis, test, ship — a continuous programme rather than a one-off redesign.
App bloat stripped, scripts deferred, LCP and CLS measured on real devices rather than a lab score.
Campaign and launch pages built to a section library, so marketing ships without a dev queue.
Not on Shopify yet? See migration services. If the audit is mostly going to say “this is slow”, you can skip straight to speed optimization.
