This website is operated by Lucent Commerce Ltd, trading as Lucent Commerce, Lucent Innovation(“Lucent”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to part of them, do not use the site.

These terms cover this website only. Two things sit outside them: any engagement we contract for, which is governed by the statement of work and contract you sign; and the Shopify apps we publish, each of which has its own terms linked from its Shopify App Store listing.

We may update these terms. Where a change is material we will say so by changing the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the site after that counts as accepting the updated version. No other amendment binds us unless it is in writing and signed by both parties.

Everything published here — the writing, the diagrams, the code samples, the page designs — is ours or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. You may read it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it wholesale, pass it off as your own, or reuse it as the basis of a competing service.

Client names and logos shown on this site belong to those clients, and appear as a record of work rather than as any endorsement of you by them.

We link to other sites — Shopify documentation, the Shopify App Store, clients’ storefronts, tools we mention by name. We do not control any of them, we are not responsible for what they contain or do, and following a link is at your own risk.

The content here is published in good faith and is accurate as far as we know at the time of writing. Ecommerce platforms change constantly, so treat everything on this site — API details, pricing, platform limits, what an app does — as general information rather than advice for your situation, and check anything you are about to act on.

We give no warranty that the site will be available uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on its content. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

A figure quoted on a service or app page describes what we or the product have done, not a result we are promising you. Where a page gives a range or a threshold, it is there to help you judge whether something applies to you.

We add, change and remove pages without notice. Anything you rely on, keep your own copy of.
